I met Maseo yesterday before his DJ set at The Blind Tiger Club in Brighton.
I prepared myself for this chance meeting and created his own indivual stamp which I illustrated See below
I had the opportunity to chat to him about the golden era of hip hop and he gave me a good insight about relationship of artists. what I found out was that that hiphop is by in large a community and its artists though all there differences get along and have a mutual respect for one another.
The DJ Set performance was great as Maseo got the crowd hyped dropping A Tribe Called Quest – Scenerio, De La Soul – Ring Ring Ring, Pete Rock & CL Smooth – The Creator.
Maseo was very appretiative of the individual stamp design I created. Very friendly guy with a big smile whom I feel privialeged to have met.
