Prophets of Rage The Super Group of Super Groups performed at possibly the best LIVE music venue in London
The Brixton o2 Academy.
Prophets of Rage are so far a LIVE performance group, that is until the Album release, which is due in September.
Having watched the the performances on YouTube, I kind of thought I knew what to expect.. However witnessing it LIVE was Next level. One of my favourite moments was DJ Lord (Public Enemy) Battling Tom Morello (RATM) Genius moment. Guitar rifts versus Scratches and Beat Juggling. Also B-Real getting people to get down low to the floor before the monumental horns of ‘Jump Around’ kick in. Then the whole damn arena is Jumping like crazy! Classic!
The combination of Rage Against Machine, Public Enemy, Cypress Hill was very impressive esspecially when you consider the body of work the 3 bands have acquired over the years.

Playing Fight The Power (PE)
Killing In The Name Of (RATM)
And plenty more….
Now you might consider this being nothing more than some kind of Karaoke… WRONG These are the best musicians in the best bands in the world. This is experimental but that’s what I like hard rhymin, banging beats, insane guitars and base DJ skills that are hard to match!
I can Testify that this is one of the most enjoyable bands to watch…
